Chef Ray Bordelon-"Your Smoky Mountain Personal Chef
Chef Ray always enjoyed serving & helping others, but little did he know he had a hidden talent and gift from God to cook for others and delight them with his culinary creations. As he began to develop his gift, he soon found out that this was what he was created to do.
Having attended Walters State Community College, Chef Ray, completed culinary courses to increase his cooking skills. He also graduated from the Culinary Business Academy and became a member of the United States Personal Chef Association. While advancing his professional chef career,Chef Ray, has provided impeccable breakfast, lunch, dinner, and high teas for two, AAA, four diamond, bed and breakfast restaurants in the Gatlinburg area. His performance and flavorful cuisine have propelled him into a full time personal chef service business, Fruitful Vintage Personal Chef Service, LLC, which has now been in operation for twenty years and continues to grow and excel.
Chef Ray was born and raised in the New Orleans area. So due to his Cajun heritage, he loves to cook in a wide variety of flavors and styles, from complex gourmet meals to simple comfort foods. He will take your food up a notch if you prefer hot and spicy or take it down if you prefer just flavor, without the heat.
Along with cooking in his customer's cabin rentals, venues, and homes, Chef Ray has performed in-store demonstrations for his two local Fresh Markets as a corporate chef. He has also had the pleasure of teaching a Cajun cooking class and a 4-H, Jr. Chef Camp class for Walters State Community College. He is a current member of the Walter's State advisory board.
Since Chef Ray's passion is to serve and delight others with food, his goal is to present to his clients a taste of Heaven on earth. He is committed to serving each customer on a personal level and creating a fun atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.
